Pray and Go

Matthew 9:35–38

In this message from Matthew 9, we discover the heart of Jesus for a weary and searching world. While others saw crowds, Jesus saw people “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” His response was not frustration, but deep compassion.

Jesus then shifts the picture from sheep to harvest, declaring that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. His words remind us that people all around us are searching for hope, truth, and grace. The need is great, and the mission is urgent.

Finally, Jesus calls His followers to pray for workers. Yet in a remarkable twist, those who pray become the very workers God sends. This message challenges us to see what Jesus sees, feel what Jesus feels, pray as Jesus commands, and go where He sends.

Join us as we explore the compassion of the Shepherd, the urgency of the harvest, and the prayer that transforms spectators into participants in God’s mission.
