We Are All In This Together

Sermon March 22, 2026

We are all in this Together: As Paul concludes his letter in Colossians 4:7–18, he shifts from deep theology to real people—reminding us that the Christian life is lived out in community. Behind every ministry are faithful co-workers like Tychicus, restored lives like Onesimus, second chances like Mark, and sobering warnings like Demas. Through their stories, we see that God’s work is carried forward not by perfect individuals, but by ordinary believers committed to Christ.

This sermon explores what it means to live and serve together: to be faithful in small tasks, to remain steadfast through struggles, to wrestle in prayer like Epaphras, and to persevere until the end like Archippus was urged to do. It also reminds us that failure is never final in Christ, yet finishing well requires endurance and focus.

Ultimately, the church calls to embrace a shared mission—supporting, encouraging, and strengthening one another—because in God’s kingdom, no one serves alone. Together, we are being shaped, sustained, and sent to fulfill His purpose.
