Sermon – July 20th , 2025
In a world filled with busyness and distraction, what truly matters most? This sermon explores that question through the lives of Abraham and Mary. Abraham made space for God in the ordinary heat of the day; Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet despite cultural expectations. Both reveal that attentive presence to God is more important than activity. Drawing on Scripture, church tradition, this message calls us to slow down, listen, and make deliberate space for God in our lives. Because when we choose God first, everything else finds its place.
