Sermon March 15, 2026

Jesus Restores Us (Colossians 3.1-17). We explore how Christ transforms and restores our lives. Humanity was created in God’s image, but sin distorted that image. Through Jesus Christ , God restores us to the life He intended. The Apostle Paul teaches that restoration begins when believers seek Christ who is seated at the right hand of God, turn away from the old sinful life, and put on the new character shaped by Christ. This passage calls Christians to fix their minds on heavenly realities, actively put to death sinful habits, and clothe themselves with compassion, humility, forgiveness, and love. When the peace of Christ rules our hearts and His Word dwells in us, our lives reflect His transforming power. We are remined that the Christian life is not merely self-improvement but a profound restoration through Christ that renews our identity, character, relationships, and purpose. May the dear Lord restores us in His likeness! God bless us all!
