Sermon – July 27, 2025
Lord, Teach us to Pray
This sermon explores the disciples’ request to Jesus: “Lord, teach us to pray.” Drawing from Luke 11 and the example of Jesus Himself, the message emphasizes that prayer is not a formula or performance, but a relationship—a daily, honest conversation with our Father. It highlights three key truths: prayer is relational, it requires clear recognition of our needs, and it calls for bold yet humble intercession. With rich illustrations, including stories from Jesus and Abraham, the sermon invites the followers of Jesus to pray not just with words, but with sincerity, persistence, and reverent trust in a God who listens and loves.
