God’s Presence in an Imperfect World

Genesis 28:10–19a | Matthew 13:24–30, 36–43

We live in a world where good and evil exist side by side, often leaving us wondering why God allows evil to remain. In the Parable of the Weeds and the Wheat, Jesus reminds us that although evil is real, it does not have the final word. God remains sovereign, faithfully watches over His people, and will one day bring perfect justice.

Drawing from Jacob’s encounter with God at Bethel and Jesus’ teaching about the kingdom, Jesus presence sustains us in an imperfect world. Rather than becoming discouraged or preoccupied with the weeds around us, we are called to persevere in faith, bear good fruit, and continue sowing seeds of love, hope, and grace. Join us as we discover the confidence and encouragement that come from knowing that the Lord of the harvest is with His people until the day He makes all things new.
