On a busy day in Mark chapter 5, Jesus went with fearful Jairus to see his acutely sick daughter and was interrupted enroute by a chronically ill woman who touched him in faith. Francis opens this passage to ask whether we approach Jesus like Jairus or the woman – in fear or in faith?
