The Bible uses many metaphors.  In today’s readings it spoke of trees and seeds to communicate to people through Ezekiel, Paul and Jesus.  Francis explored the metaphors used to then open up Jesus’ messages about the Mystery of the Seed and the Parable of the Mustard Seed.   For us it’s about both being God’s field and cultivating what he sows and sowing seed in others.
