This year’s Annual BBQ was an event to remember! Blessed with perfect weather and an abundance of delicious food, our church community gathered for an afternoon filled with laughter, joy, and connection. The vibrant atmosphere was the perfect setting to bring everyone together—long-time members and newcomers alike.
From the moment the grills fired up, you could feel the excitement in the air. The tantalizing aromas of sizzling burgers, sausages, and other mouth-watering treats set the stage for a day that would leave everyone feeling full—both in body and spirit. There was something for everyone: a variety of homemade dishes, savory sides, and, of course, sweet desserts that had us all going back for seconds!
But this event was about so much more than just food.
The heart of the day? Our incredible community.
Teenagers from the church took the lead, organizing fun-filled games that brought out the best in both the young and the young at heart! Laughter echoed across the grounds as children and adults alike joined in on badminton, volley ball, nerf gun challenges, beer pong (minus the beer) and friendly competitions that had everyone cheering. Whether you were participating or simply enjoying the sight of friends and families playing together, there was no shortage of smiles.
What made this BBQ truly special was the opportunity it gave us to deepen our bonds and welcome new faces. Newcomers had the chance to experience the warmth and genuine hospitality that defines our community. It was the perfect introduction to TCE’s family feel—a place where everyone is valued, and where fellowship is the cornerstone of our faith.
The event provided the ideal setting for conversations to flow naturally, as old friends caught up and new friendships were forged. Whether swapping stories over a plate of food or teaming up for a game, it was a day that reminded us all of the importance of gathering, connecting, and creating lasting memories.
As the day came to a close, there was a deep sense of gratitude. We thank everyone who helped make this day a success—from the grill masters to the game organizers and, of course, all of you who attended and made it such a joyful celebration. It was a beautiful reminder that our church is not just a building, but a vibrant, loving community where we share in each other’s lives and grow together in faith.
