This year’s Trinity Christmas Market was a joyous celebration of community spirit, creativity, and festive cheer! The church came alive with colourful tables, delicious aromas, and the buzz of excitement as church started to set up after the Sunday service. From food sales to handmade crafts, the market was a beautiful showcase of talent and generosity, with proceeds supporting our Mission partners.
A Feast for the Senses
The food and bake sales were a highlight of the day, drawing in crowds with the promise of irresistible treats. The youth from TYDE presented their homemade burritos which were an undeniable hit, with lines forming early and plates selling out quickly. Their dedication and teamwork were evident in every perfectly rolled burrito! “As expected, the food from our Indian community, including Biryanis, sold out quickly even before it hit the tables!”
The bake sale table was another hotspot, laden with an assortment of cakes, cookies, and pastries. From traditional holiday goodies like fruitcake to brownie cheesecakes and other holiday bakes, there was something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Unique Finds and Creative Offerings
Beyond the food, the market featured an array of non-food items that made for perfect holiday gifts. Handmade crochet items and potted plants added a touch of charm and beauty to the event, while the craft table offered children and teenagers the chance to create their own unique ornaments and decorations. The book table ranged from children’s books to theological and other Christian authored books.
Smiles at the Photo Booth
One of the most popular attractions of the day was the photo booth, where families, friends, and individuals could capture the fun of the season. Whether striking silly poses with props or opting for more traditional holiday portraits, our church members left with cherished memories and plenty of smiles.
A Spirit of Togetherness
The market was a testament to the creativity and dedication of our church community. The FOMT worked tirelessly to make the day a success, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Our church members expressed their gratitude for the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the chance to come together in celebration of the season.
