The International Week of Prayer for the unity of Christians

‘Those who remain in my love bear much fruit’ is the central theme this year for the International Week of Prayer for the Unity of Christians.

Already more than a hundred years millions of Christians pray in January for the unity of Christians. Countless denominations take part in this week of prayer.

In the Eindhoven region we normally have services every evening during this week, every day in a different church. This way we try to live out our ecumenical intentions.

Due to Covid19 we cannot do that this year; we cannot call upon people to come together in large numbers. This year every church puts something online to call people to prayer. In our church the theme ‘Remain in my Love’ will also be the main theme of our service on the 24th of January.
