The Sound & AV Team Coordinator oversees the planning, organisation, and smooth running of all sound and audio-visual aspects of our church services and events. This role supports worship, teaching, and community life by ensuring that technology serves the message clearly and without distraction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule Sound & AV team members for Sunday services, special services, and church events
- Ensure sound, projection, livestream, and recording systems are set up, tested, and operated effectively
- Train, support, and encourage volunteers, helping them grow in skill and confidence
- Maintain equipment and liaise with leadership regarding upgrades, repairs, or technical needs
- Work closely with worship leaders, preachers, and service planners to meet service requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues calmly and efficiently during services
- Promote a culture of teamwork, reliability, and servant-hearted ministry
